ニューヨーク郊外のビルバーンに位置する同店は2019年12月で50周年を迎える。ここは日本なのかと錯覚してしまうほど日本の伝統的雰囲気を醸し出す老舗和食レストラン。広大な敷地の入り口にある巨大な鳥居が一際目を引き、敷地内のあらゆる場所で日本を感じることが出来る。

HIBACHI料理の先駆け的存在として、アメリカの和食文化の形成に大きな役割を果たしたとも言える同店は、味もパフォーマンスも一流。ステーキや寿司、一品料理など食事のメニューも充実しており、お酒の種類も豊富なので、友人や家族での食事はもちろん、会食や接待などさまざまなシーンで利用出来る。新たにY’s Loungeもオープン。

Located on the outskirts of New York, this restaurant had just celebrated its 50th anniversary in December 2019. This long-established restaurant that serves Washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine) is known for its traditional Japanese scenery and atmosphere that leave them feeling like they’re in Japan. Once you passed the massive Torii gate at the entrance, you can really get a feel of Japan everywhere.

As a pioneer in HIBACHI cuisine, it can be said that Mt. Fuji played a major role in shaping America’s Washoku culture; not to mention its superb performance and taste. From steak and sushi to one-course dishes, its wide variety of selections on their menu, as well as its diverse liquor list will accommodate various needs, including friends and family gatherings, business dinners and receptions.

With the newly opened Y’s Lounge, events with a larger amount of guests such as a wedding party may also be accommodated. Furthermore, a countdown event is also held during the New Year. Eating here at Mt. Fuji makes feast for both your taste buds and eyes.
