Surrounded by Coolidge Park and beside the Tennessee River lies a cozy traditional Japanese restaurant called Sushi Nabe.

Their specialty is the sashimi and rolls, and for the extra experience, their sushi bar. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere with the family-friendly staff in addition to the fresh and authentic food makes it the perfect place to eat in Chattanooga.

Because they get many of their sashimi fresh from the market, asking the chef which one he recommend is the best way to go. Some of the favorited items are the Uni (Sea Urchin), Otoro (Fatty Tuna), and the kelp soup, and the Teriyaki teishoku.
